These photos were taken in Madisonville, Kentucky during the Total Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017
I was not really expecting this event to have the emotional impact it had on me as I watched it unfold. 
To directly observe such a spectacular celestial event in real time, is very different than watching it on TV!
